Obituary of Thomas K. Melnyk

Thomas K. Melnyk, 59, of Little Egg Harbor, passed away on September 23, 2015. Born in Newark, NJ, he was a graduate of Bloomfield High. Tom later moved to Toms River, then to Little Egg Harbor, NJ. He was a loving father, grandfather and avid sports enthusiast. Tom was predeceased by his father John Melnyk. He is survived by his mother Theresa; son Trevor; daughter Jamie Healy & husband Sean; grandchildren, Connor and Erin; his long time companion Ellen Moran; two sisters Carol, Valerie (Frank) Llewellyn, brothers John (Maryanne), and Michael (Diane). Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering on Sunday, September 27th from 12-4 at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave, Toms River, NJ (www.kedzfuneralhome.com). In lieu of flowers, contributions are being accepted by the family to establish a scholarship fund on his son's behalf.
