Obituary of Ann T. Wojcicki

Ann T. Lazgin Wojcicki, 89, of Lakewood, passed away peacefully into eternal life on Friday, January 22, 2016. Ann grew up in Riverdale, NY and was the youngest of four children. After graduating from the College of Mount Saint Vincent with a BA in English and from SUNY New Paltz with a MS in Education, Ann began her teaching career in early education. She later became the Director of the Neptune DYFS Day Care Center with the State of New Jersey. Ann married Francis Lazgin and they raised five children in Ewing Twp., NJ. The family enjoyed camping and belonged to the Capitol Campers chapter of the National Campers & Hikers Assoc. Ann's family was her greatest delight and she was dearly loved by them. Ann made friends easily and was welcoming to all. Ann found great joy in gardening and was an active member of the Garden Clubs of Toms River and Brick Twp. Ann and her husband Francis loved the Jersey shore where they moved in the mid 1980's. Ann was predeceased by her first husband Francis Lazgin in 1995 and her second husband Walter Wojcicki in 2002; sister Marie Malone; two brothers, Albert (Bud) Rutledge, Jack Rutledge; grandson, Brian Mears. Surviving are her son, Frank Lazgin and wife Nancy; daughters, Ann Brueck and husband John, Kathleen Mears and husband Darrell, Carol Lazgin Ciercielli and husband Frank, Jeanne Manogue and husband Joseph; nine grandchildren, John Brueck, Amy Brueck, Nathan Mears, Madhura Mears, Brandon Ciercielli , Maria Lazgin Ciercielli, Tori Manogue, Michael Manogue; two great grandchildren, Mason and Blake Ciercielli. Also her longtime companion of thirteen years, Bob Adams. Visitation will be held Friday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River, NJ 08753. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:30 am Saturday at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 1674 Old Freehold Road, Toms River, NJ 08753. Burial will follow the Mass at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, 1 Honey Locust Drive, Lakewood, NJ 08701.
