Obituary of Marie R. Jackson

Marie R. Jackson, 92, of Manchester, NJ, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016 at her home. Marie had a passion for tennis and continued playing into her 70's. Marie was born and raised in Staten Island, NY. She lived in Pocono Lake, PA where she attended the Paradise Valley Assembly of God church. She and her husband then moved to Vero Beach, FL and were active members of Central Assembly of God Church. They moved to Manchester in 2002 and were members of the Assembly of God, Jesus Is Lord Fellowship Church of Toms River. She was predeceased by five siblings, Louis Corio, Anna Garfield, John Corio, Gladys Finn and Michael Corio. Marie is survived by her husband Norman T. Jackson, Sr.; four sons, Norman, Jr. of Staten Island, NY, Charles and Michael, both of Millstone, NJ, Kevin of Milltown, NJ; daughter Debbie Guida, of Poconos, PA; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister Theresa McGras of Staten Island. Visitation will be held Monday from 6 to 9 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. A funeral service will be offered Tuesday, 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
