Obituary of Margaret F. Miller

Margaret F. Miller (Swift) was called to the Lord on Saturday, August 27, 2016. She was the wife of the late Thomas W. Miller, who passed away in 1999. Marge was born in Secaucus, moved to Brick Town, then to Toms River, and finally to Galloway in 2001. She was a truly caring and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse having worked at Community Memorial Hospital in Toms River, and as a staff nurse in long term care for Laurelton Village, Brick Town where she was the recipient of the Nurse Of The Year award, and private duty cases. She enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, bingo and the casino. She was prayerful in her Catholic faith and was a member of St. Joseph's Parish in Toms River and later St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Absecon. She was proud of her Irish heritage. She was the mother of the late Marilyn R. Rigakos of Canada who passed in 2006. She was also predeceased by her mother and father and 10 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her beloved son John Miller and son in law Marcos Sanchez Reyes of Pleasantville, son Thomas Miller, Jr., of Florida; two step grandsons Adriel Sanchez Ortiz and Marcos Ortiz, Jr. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 am, Wednesday at St. Joseph's Church, Hooper Ave., Toms River followed by burial at St. Joseph Cemetery.
