Obituary of Joseph J. Cuff

Joseph J. Cuff, Jr., 86 of Toms River, passed away Friday, November 4, 2016. Joseph was an electrical engineer and worked for SIHI Pumps of Canada as a sales representative. He was a proud veteran having served in the US Navy. Born and raised in Newark, he lived in East Brunswick for over 30 years, moving to Toms River in 2000. Joseph was a member of the Elks, Knights of Columbus and the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh. He was a Ham Radio operator and enjoyed boating, golfing, coaching and had a love for all aspects of shuffleboard. Joseph loved music and played the piano and the ukulele. He was the band manager for the Irish group Wild Colonial Boy's and belonged to a Barber Shop Quartet. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Marion in 1984. Surviving are his son, Joseph Cuff, III; two daughters, Patricia Coll and Carol Cuff; five grandchildren and one great grandson. Visitation will be held Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:30 am Tuesday at St. Maximilian-Kolbe Church, 130 St. Maximilian Lane, Toms River, NJ 08757. Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Jamesburg, NJ.
