Obituary of Philip Richard Cimino

Philip R. Cimino, 59, entered into eternal peace on Monday, December 19, 2016, at his home in Toms River, NJ. He was born on March 17, 1957 in Long Branch, NJ to Vincent and Joyce Cimino. Philip was the third of four sons. He grew up in Toms River, where he lived most of his life. He was predeceased by his mother Joyce Cimino; and brothers Ralph and Vincent Cimino. He is survived by his dad, Vincent Cimino; brother Anthony & Patricia Cimino; love of his life and mother of his children Gail Cimino; daughters Elizabeth & Steve Puglisi, Dawn & Sean Russell; son Phillip & Chie Cimino; and grandchildren who lovingly called him Poppy; Rachell, Stephen, Dylan, Mateo, Rayann, Hannah, and Christian; and nieces and nephews. Philip was very much loved and adored by his family. Possessing a true servant's heart. "Family is a group of people trying to stay together" is something Philip would often say. He never judged and always loved everyone. "For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. 1 Peter 1: 18-19 Visitation will be held Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. A funeral service will be offered 10:00 am Thursday at the funeral home followed by burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River.
