Obituary of Gregory T. Redwood

Gregory T. Redwood, Sr., 55 of Toms River, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017. Greg was the owner and operator of Redwood's Heating & Air Conditioning for 34 years. Greg was born in Elizabeth and moved to Toms River at the age of 7 where he graduated from High School North. An involved father and community contributor, Greg coached youth soccer, baseball and football. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle on the open road and any thrill on two wheels until his final days. He was predeceased by his parents, Jeff 'Buddy' and Nancy Redwood and younger brother Kenneth. Surviving are his wife of 34 years Annette 'Penny' Redwood; children Gregory Jr., Nicole, Kevin and Lauren; brother, Jeff 'Butch' Redwood; sister Carol Nobbs; and beloved nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Diabetes Association, 1160 US-22, Bridgewater, NJ 08807 in his memory would be appreciated.
