John William Anderson, 85, died peacefully at home surrounded by family. Born in Union, he lived in the Middlesex County area before moving to Bayville 3 years ago. He worked for Johnson & Johnson for 30 years, retiring 20 years ago. He was an Army veteran of World War II serving with the 101st airborne. He will be missed by many, and remembered for his sense of humor, wise cracks and his complete honesty. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Florence Wood Anderson; two brothers, Lester and Roy and a sister Joan Anderson. Surviving his children: Cathie of Manchester Twp.; David of Wenonah; Michael Szigeti of Howell; Lisa Cunningham of Dallas, NC, and Laverne Pascucci of Brick. Grandchildren: Cory, Davie and Wyatt Anderson; Mackenzie Malaspina; Frankie Cunningham; Chrissy, Dawn and Dean Martin. A sister: Mary Manasi of NC A Brother: Donald Anderson of FL. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 16 at the Manchester Fire House, Commonwealth Blvd. from 2 – 7 pm. All are welcome to celebrate his life.
