Joan E. Karnowski, 92 of Manchester, NJ passed away January 27, 2025. Joan worked at Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick before retiring in 1998. Born and raised in New Brunswick, she moved to South River to raise her family. In 1998 she settled in the Brick and Manchester area. Joan enjoyed ceramics, knitting and cooking, but loved spending time at the beach.

She was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Esther Kotter, her son Ronald S. Karnowski, grandson George M. Francis, Jr., and two brothers, Thomas Kotter, Jr. and Frederick Kotter.

Joan is survived by sons, Joseph Karnowski and his wife Dottie, Bruce Karnowski and his wife Diane; daughter Karen Lesko; 6 grandchildren, Troy Karnowski, Ronald S. Karnowski, Craig Karnowski, Adam Karnowski, Sarah Karnowski-Gold, Melanie Cruz and her husband Eric and Bridget Francis; and 3 great grandchildren, Ellie May Francis, Connor J. Cruz and George M. Francis, III.

Visitation will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave, Toms River, NJ on Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:30pm. A funeral service will be offered at 3:30. Burial will be private.
