Eleanor B. Graff, a longtime resident of Seaside Park, passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 96. Eleanor was born in Philadelphia, PA and graduated from Chestnut Hill High School. Shortly after graduating high school, she moved to Seaside Park where she spent the rest of her life. She attended Emerson College and graduated from Ocean County College with an associate’s degree. Eleanor worked as a News Reporter for a local news station for 20 years before retiring. She was an active member of the local Art Association and Seaside Parks Yacht Club for several years.
Eleanor had a love for sailing, the sound of the ocean waves gave her peace and serenity. She was an artist at heart and loved to play tennis.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard Graff, Sr., and brother, John Boyer.
Eleanor is survived by her children; Linda Stock and her husband George Stock, Jr., Lucy Deboard and her husband Gregory Deboard, and Richard Graff, Jr.; grandchildren, Kelly Rosas, Jennifer Riley, Nicholas Stock, Ginger Deboard, Molly Graff, and Richard Graff, III, and 5 great grandchildren. We are very thankful for moms caregiver Helena Timkova who was with her daily.
