Helen Savastano passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the age of 75. She was a resident of Toms River and worked as a secretary for Janney Montgomery Scott retiring many years ago. Helen was born in Dusseldorf, Germany to the late Leonard & Josaphine Akers.
She was predeceased by her husband Angelo in 2018. Her brothers David and Leonard Akers.
She is survived by her sister JoAnne, and her loving children Jerry, Michele and her husband Joe Hawk, many nieces and nephews. And her loving pets Layla and Einstein who gave her great comfort in her later years.
Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers and cards, please donate to an animal shelter or organization of your choice.
