Johanna D. Cappuccino, 100, of Toms River, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on July 14, 2025.

Born on November 7, 1924, in Hightstown, NJ, Johanna was the beloved daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Damasco. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, John Joseph Cappuccino.

A proud graduate of Rider College, Johanna worked in public service as an administrator for the State of New Jersey, then as a devoted mother. She later pursued her entrepreneurial spirit as a private business owner.

Johanna was a caring and devoted wife and mother, remembered for her warmth, resilience, and boundless love for her family. She had a deep passion for gardening and found great joy and peace being on or near the water—places that reflected her calm and nurturing spirit.

She is survived by her son, John J. Cappuccino, and many loving nieces, nephews and friends who cherished her dearly.

Viewing to be held Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 4pm - 7pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River NJ 08753. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, July 17, 2025 at St. Joseph's Church, 685 Hooper Ave., Toms River NJ 08753.
