Antoinette K. Nicklis, a cherished mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025, at her home. She was born on December 17, 1949, in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Antoinette was a proud graduate of Dickinson High School. Thirty years ago, she moved to South Toms River, embracing her new community and making it her home. For two decades, she worked diligently as a Deli Clerk at Pathmark, where her friendly smile and hardworking spirit were well known and appreciated.
Beyond her work, Antoinette found joy in crocheting, a hobby through which she expressed her creativity. Her greatest joy, however, came from her grandchildren. She was a devoted grandmother who treasured every moment with her grandkids.
Antoinette is survived by her son, Frank and his wife Jennifer Nicklis; daughter, Connie Nicklis; grandchildren, Thomas Nicklis, Madison Nicklis, Kaitlyn Nicklis, and Alex Desimone-Nicklis, and sisters, Marie Sanchez, Yolanda Blackmon, and Lillian Elmehrath.
Viewing will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025, from 1 – 3 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Avenue, Toms River.
