It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Arlene Ann Taylor, who entered into eternal rest on August 14, 2025, in Naples, Florida.
Arlene was born and raised in Carteret and was a devoted Communicant of St. Demetrius Ukrainian Cathedral. She worked as a Medical Secretary for 12 years (1966-1978), as a Home Health Aide for 7 years (1991-1998), and later with Bloomberg, Inc. from 1998 until her retirement in 2000.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Michael and Anna Muzyka.
Arlene is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas Taylor; her children, Jason Barone, Austin Barone, Tom Taylor Jr., and Steven Taylor; her brother, Michael Muzyka; as well as many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 5 - 8 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Avenue, Toms River, NJ. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. Demetrius Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 645 Roosevelt Ave., Carteret, NJ.
