Julia Natole Obituary

Julia Natole, 87, a long time resident of Toms River, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025. Julia (Cantafio) known as Julie or “Buffy” was born and raised in Brooklyn NY. Married to Joseph (Joey) her first and only love, they had twin girls in 1958, and shortly moved to Staten Island, where they raised their family. They retired in the 1990s and settled in Toms River. Julia was a school aide in NY and NJ, finally retiring in 2018. “Miss Julie” was a favorite with the students and staff, mainly working at PS 5 and Citta Elementary.


She enjoyed shopping, crafting, Bingo, Mahjong, bowling , bocci and many other activities and hobbies. She loved animals . Julia lived life to the fullest, with a large circle of friends and a close circle of family.


Julia was predeceased by her husband, who passed in 2018, and her granddaughter, Vanessa.


She is survived by her daughters, Joanne and Linda and her son in law, Richie, her granddaughters, April, Julie, Ashley, and Christen and her great grandchildren, Dezmond, Vincent, Gabby, Julian, Leilana, Max, Kaia, Jaida, Declyn and Paislee, and her very loved puppy, Gracie.


A private memorial will be held as Julia is eternally reunited to rest with her Joey.
