Susanne Sorrentino, 87, of Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 12, 2025.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Susanne graduated from Washington Irving Campus High School. Afterward, she dedicated herself to her career, working for the New York City Board of Education for 10 years before retiring in 2000.

A woman of many talents, Susanne found joy in crafting, painting, cooking, and spending time at the beach. She also loved shopping, but most of all, she treasured the time she spent with her beloved grandchildren. Her family was the center of her world, and she will be remembered for the deep love and warmth she gave to those around her.

Susanne is predeceased by her husband, Salvatore Sorrentino; her daughter, Andrea Sorrentino; her parents, Andrew and Jennie Nunziata; and her siblings, Andrew and Joanne. She is survived by her son, Salvatore Sorrentino and his wife, Judy; her grandchildren, Michael, Kristin, Andrew, and Kaitlin; and her sister, Barbara.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Avenue, Toms River, NJ. Interment will take place on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at St. John's Cemetery, 80-01 Metropolitan Avenue, Middle Village, NY, at 10:30 AM.
