Barbara (Cardillo) Genco, passed away on Friday September 12, 2025, in Toms River, New Jersey. She was 81.
She was born on June 10, 1944 to Anthony Cardillo and Patricia (Pastena) Cardillo, both deceased. She lived her early years in Bloomfield, New Jersey, where she attended and graduated from Bloomfield High School and later cosmetology school. It was there that she met her high school sweetheart, a love story that blossomed into a lifelong partnership. Together, they moved to Toms River, where they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and lasting memories.
Known for her kindness and gentle spirit, Barbara touched the lives of all who knew her. Her love and generosity will be remembered by family, friends, and all who had the privilege to know her.
Barbara's legacy of compassion and devotion will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to share in her life. She leaves behind a world made better by her presence and a family forever grateful for her love.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Kenneth Genco, and grandson, Brandon Michael Genco, as well as many nieces and nephews, and is predeceased by her son, Kenneth A. Genco, and her sister, Joan Blauth.
