We're heartbroken to share the passing of Brian Coupland, a loving father, brother, and friend, who left us peacefully at home surrounded by love. He will be deeply missed by his surviving brother Kevin (and wife Sandy), sister Maureen (and husband Bob), his ex-wife Christine McCauley who was always a friend to him, a step son Kyle Lockwood and his wife Brittany who he always cared for as if they were one of his own. He was a wonderful “Daddy Brian”! He will be welcomed to heaven with open arms by his mother and best friend Doris Coupland, his sister Pat, and brother Keith. Along with his beloved second family, the Ciallella’s, as many have passed and they can all reunite in love and peace.
Brian was a lifelong basketball enthusiast, which he shared a great passion for with best friend Carmen. Brian grew up in Arrowhead Park, where he formed lasting friendships and adored his second family, the Ciallella’s. He cherished those memories. His kindness and generosity touched countless lives, and he will be remembered for his big heart and larger-than-life personality. Brian was a hard worker and loved doing his pool business and his step son plans to carry on his legacy.
Brian now rests in peace, free from pain, and with the Lord. His family asks that we keep them united in love and support, as he would have wanted.
Upon a decision with all family, it was decided a cremation will take place and a memorial will take place at a later date: May 2nd, 2026 from 12pm to 4pm. The address is 25 Breton Rd, Brick NJ. All are welcomed!
