George W. Hann, 61, of Toms River, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at home. Born and raised in Toms River, he was a proud graduate of Toms River High School North, Class of 1982.

A lifelong NASCAR enthusiast, George was particularly fond of Jeff Gordon. His love for car models and eagles reflected his vibrant spirit and interests, which he shared with those lucky enough to know him.

Throughout his life, George was a familiar and friendly face around the park for many years. He could often be seen riding his mower, carefully tending to your lawns and taking pride in keeping our community beautiful. He leaves behind many grateful neighbors and friends who will miss him dearly.

George is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Elizabeth and brothers, Michael and Jimmy.

He is survived by his loving siblings, Teresa and her husband Daniel, Jeffrey and his wife Ellen, Patrick and his wife Johanna, and Philip and his wife Pearl. He will also be missed by his 4 nephews, 3 nieces, and many extended family members and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts.

A celebration of life in honor of George will be announced at a later date.
