Dorothy Edwina Maloney known by her friends as “Teena” Maloney, 86, of Beachwood, New Jersey, peacefully passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Riverside, NJ, and raised in Seaside Park, Teena cherished her roots, returning to Riverside to graduate from Riverside High School.

In 1959, Teena met the love of her life, Michael J. Maloney, III, and they united in marriage just a year later. Their partnership was built on love, laughter, and a deep commitment to family. Teena devoted herself to her community as a member of the Women's Auxiliary for the Beachwood Fire Department for a short time and served as a Girl Scout Leader for many years. Together with her husband, she owned Barre Monuments in Beachwood for almost 50 years.

Her faith was an essential part of her life; she was a devoted Eucharist minister and shared her musical talents by playing the guitar with the music ministry at St. Barnabas Catholic Church in Bayville, NJ. Teena had a profound love for animals, particularly her beloved dogs, who predeceased her.

Teena is predeceased by her cherished sons, Andrew Sean and Michael J. Maloney, IV.

She is deeply missed by her beloved husband, Michael; her daughter, Donna Maloney-King, and her husband, Bryan; her grandchildren, Zachary (Marialena), Alexander, Casey, Kelsey, Bryce, Bryan, and Nicole; and her great-granddaughter, Delaney Malone King.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Avenue, Toms River, NJ. Interment will take place on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 62 Cedar Grove Road, Toms River, NJ.
