Vincent J. Curchy, Jr., age 78, of Toms River, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2026. Born in Red Bank, NJ, Vincent later moved to Valisburg, NJ.

A proud veteran, Vincent served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army. Following his military service, he pursued a career in sales, first at Alans Florist in Brick, NJ, and then at North East Electric Static Spray Paint in Howell, NJ, where he dedicated himself until his retirement.

Vincent had a zest for life and enjoyed various hobbies including hunting, fishing, creating beautiful flower arrangements, and woodworking. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his grandchildren, who were his greatest joy.

He was predeceased by his father, Vincent J. Curchy, Sr.; his mother, Doris Melynchuk; his stepfather, James Melynchuk; and his sister, Susan Candace Melynchuk.

Vincent leaves behind his beloved daughters, Monique Curchy and Gabrielle Weyandt and her husband Thomas. He is also survived by his precious grandchildren: IsabellaRose and Vincent Gradaille, and Mason Weyandt. Additionally, Vincent shared a meaningful bond with the mother of his children, Donna Marie Curchy, as well as many extended family members and friends who will always remember him fondly.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026, from 4 to 7 PM at Kedz Funeral Home, located at 1123 Hooper Avenue, Toms River. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring Vincent’s remarkable life and sharing cherished memories.
