Paul J. Hakos, 81, of Brick, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 2, 2026. Born and raised in Irvington, NJ, Paul was a proud veteran who served honorably in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Catherine Hakos, and his parents, Paul and Anna Hakos.

Paul is survived by his children, Robin Hakos, Christie Grannan, and Edgar Pruitt and his wife, Michelle Pruitt; grandchildren, Isabella Ponce, Sean, Ellie, Zach, Richard Pruitt, Michael Pruitt, Gizzy Pruitt, and Angela Potter; great-grandson, Jaxon Potter; and siblings, Mickey Hakos, Thomas Hakos, and Donna George.

In accordance with his wishes, services will remain private.
