Vincent “Vinny” Luongo, 92, of Toms River, peacefully passed away at home on Sunday, August 9, 2026.

A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Vinny’s military service helped shape his character and instilled in him a deep commitment to his country and community. Following his service, he went on to enjoy a successful career in real estate.

Vinny loved boating with his wife, Carol, cheering on the Detroit Lions and New York Yankees, and spending time with family and friends.

Vinny is survived by his beloved wife, Carol Luongo; his children, Kathleen (Greg) Bakeman, Melanie Luongo, and Victor Luongo; his stepchildren, Thomas Robinson, Laura (Brian) Marschner, and Carol Robinson; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Carmelita Luongo; his sister, Angela Jones; and his stepson, Raymond Robinson.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 13, 2026 from 2 - 4 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Avenue, Toms River, NJ.
