Obituary of Linda Clark-Homer

Linda Clark-Homer, 55 lost her fight against cancer on December 3, 2009 at Monmouth Medical Center . Although she was born in Toms River at Dr. James Risso’s historic Maternity Hospital , she lived in Trenton during her elementary school days. From 1966 on she attended Toms River Schools and remained a loyal graduate of Toms River High School South. She graduated from Georgian Court College with a business degree. Being naturally artistic, she found her first career as a jewelry store manager. She may be remembered from Zales in the Ocean County Mall or Marcus Jewelers in Paramus . After a serious automobile accident on the NJ Turnpike, she changed careers to health care and was last employed at the Cranford Health and Extended Care Center as Director of Admissions. Her friends and family know her as a gourmet cook and collector of cookbooks. Linda was predeceased by her grandparents, Charles and Anna Knox and her father, James E. Clark. She is survived by her mother, Beulah Clark Her beloved son, Tristan Lee Homer and his grandmother, Violet Homer. Two brothers, Wayne Clark and his wife Lisa and children Ashley and Connor Wilson of Forked River and James Clark and his wife Susan of Dallas, Texas Her aunt, Marjorie Knox of California , Uncle Wilbur Clark of Rhode Island and Debra Clark of Manchester . Family will receive friends at the Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave. , Toms River on Saturday, December 19, from 2 to 4 p.m. A memorial service and time of sharing will begin at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donation to Saint Barnabas Hospice, 300 2nd Ave. , Long Branch , NJ 07740 would be appreciated.
