Obituary of Janet Emmett

Janet Emmett, 79, of Boynton Beach , Florida , born in Newark , New Jersey , passed away on August 20, 2009 . She was God's faithful servant who had been currently serving the Lord at Boca Raton Bible Chapel since 2003. Janet had dedicated her life to the Lord and others, making more than 150 dresses a year for the refugees in Africa . Prior to moving to Florida , Janet lived in Beachwood , New Jersey and was in fellowship at Bethany Bible Chapel of Toms River. Janet was predeceased by her parents, William Wilson in 1968 and Elizabeth Wilson in 1984 as well as her first husband, Adam Miller in 1968. She is survived by: Her husband of 31 years, Russell T. Emmett, Jr.; Son and daughter in law Donald and Lisa Miller, of Palm Beach Gardens , FL and his children, Melissa Miller Perry, Nicole Miller, Brittany Miller, and Chelsea Miller; Two daughters and their husbands; Elizabeth and Jim Miller of Maitland, FL and their children, Michelle Miller and Alexander Miller; and Jennifer and Bob Baxter, of Boca Raton, FL and their children, Victoria Baxter and Jacqueline Baxter. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2009 from 10 - 12 at the Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Avenue , Toms River, New Jersey. Funeral service will be held at 12 noon immediately followed by graveside services at Riverside Cemetery , Old Freehold Road and Route 9, Toms River .
