Vincent J. Palmisano, Jr. (Vinnie Palm), aged 79, of Toms River, peacefully passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023. Vincent, affectionately known as Vinnie, was born June 22, 1943, and raised in Bayonne, NJ, to the late Vincent and Victoria (nee: Santa Maria) Palmisano. His life was filled with remarkable achievements and cherished moments that will forever be remembered. Vinnie discovered his passion for football while attending Bayonne High School, where his talent flourished. He excelled on the field, earning a place on both the All State and County teams. While his skills garnered attention from Colorado State, Vinnie chose a different path, enlisting in the United States Army Reserve, dedicating a decade of his life to serving his country. After his time in the military and attending Rutgers University, Vinnie began his journey as an apprentice for a Union Masonry Company, working on the construction of the iconic Verrazzano Bridge in Staten Island. This experience fueled his passion for construction, leading him to establish his own company, TraDee Construction. Named after his beloved daughters, Tracy and Deana, Vinnie successfully operated the business for over 25 years, all while managing other business ventures such as Real Estate. Upon retiring from his entrepreneurial endeavors, Vinnie found a new chapter at Lowe's in Toms River, where he shared his expertise and dedication for a decade. His commitment to hard work and craftsmanship was unwavering throughout his life. Beyond his professional pursuits, Vinnie had a profound love for classic cars, particularly Classic Corvettes. He cherished his collection of vehicles and held a special fondness for his classic 66’ Candy Apple Red Corvette, which brought him immeasurable joy. Additionally, Vinnie found solace and happiness by the beach, indulging in his passion for shooting and his enduring love for football. Vinnie leaves behind a legacy that will be forever treasured. He is survived by his loving daughters, Tracy Fletcher and her husband Jonathan, and Deana Camisa and her husband Robert, along with their mother, Mary Jane Palmisano. He was a cherished grandfather to Katherine, Jacqueline, Olivia, and Robby. Vinnie is also survived by his sisters, Chickie Panaccione (husband Joe) and Laurie DeLapa (husband Ralph), as well as his brother, Anthony Palmisano (wife Rose). Numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members will always hold his memory close to their hearts. Vincent J. Palmisano, Jr. touched the lives of many with his dedication, unwavering spirit, and love for his family. His legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
