Obituary of Joleen Hoernig

Joleen Hoernig, 59, of Toms River, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2014. Joleen worked as a line cook for St. Joseph by the Sea Spiritual Center in Mantoloking and Ocean Inc. Head Start Program in Toms River. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Seaside Heights Post 351. Born in Luzerne County, PA, she lived in Seaside Heights before moving to Toms River 24 years ago. She is survived by her husband Ed; son Gabe Hoernig; two daughters, Victoria Hoernig, Samantha Lynn Hoerning; three grandchildren, Gavin, Laylin, Nicholas. A memorial gathering will be held from 2 to 5 pm on Saturday, December 13 at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River.
