Obituary of Elsie G. Hance

Elsie G. Hance, 86 of South Toms River, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011. She was a devoted mother to her three children and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. Born in Franklin, VT, she grew up in Saint Albins. She lived in Hawaii and Beachwood, moving to South Toms River in 1967. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Frederick W., Sr. in 1974 and her son Frederick W., Jr. in 1998. Elsie is survived by her daughter, Sandra Hance-Ehling; her son, Michael Hance; grandson, Joseph Smith; 4 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; two brothers, Roy and Ernie Jones; eight sisters, Doris Burns, Eunice Shanks, Edith Houston, Phyllis Hutchinson, Arieta DeMar, Roberta Scott, Irene Quinlin, Ruth Young Visitation will be held from 1 to 4 pm Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River.
