Obituary of Steven Skerritt

Steven Skerritt, 21 of Toms River, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011. Steven was attending the Star Career Academy in Brick for a career as a Medical Assistant. He was born in Paterson and lived in Little Falls, moving to Toms River 11 years ago. Steven is survived by his mother Mary Skerritt of Toms River; his father Daniel Skerritt of Wharton, NJ; three brothers, Mark Edson of Carlstadt, Marineus VanRiper of VA., Daniel Skerritt & his fiancée Tara Goonan of Medford; two sisters, Maureen Byrd of Carlstadt and Kara Kessler and her husband Dave of Medford; and seven nephews, Sean, Tyler, Nathaniel, Justin, Chase, Caden and Liam. Visitation will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River of Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held Friday at 8:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Steven&#39;s memory can be made to the family.
