Eleanor Tursky Obituary
Eleanor D. Tursky, 82 of Toms River, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Community Medical Center. Eleanor worked as a bookkeeper for Casale Industries of Garwood, NJ and retired after many years of service. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Eleanor was a resident of 'The Oaks' in Toms River and enjoyed the weekend trips to Atlantic City. Born in Mount Carmel, PA, she lived in Newark, Garwood and Edison before retiring to Toms River in 1996. She was predeceased by her beloved husband John J. Tursky in 2004.
Surviving are two daughters, Susan Zavali of Whiting and Jane Worthington of Manchester, NJ; a sister Annamae Waskiewicz of Edison; and three grandchildren, Joseph, Paul and Scott.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Hooper Ave., Toms River. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
