Joan A. Robinson, 69 of the Silver Ridge park West section of Berkeley Twp., passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick, NJ. Joan worked for Mid-Atlantic Bank and PNC Bank as a Customer Service Representative, retiring in 1995. Joan was a communicant and Eucharistic Minister of Epiphany Catholic Church of Brick, and a member of the Rosary Society at St. Maximilian-Kolbe Church, Berkeley Twp. She was a member of the Polish American Club of Manchester and a member of the Womans Club of Silver Ridge Park West. Born and raised in Newark, she was a graduate of the East Side High School. She was predeceased by her son Mark A. Robinson in 2008. Surviving are her beloved husband of 49 years, Allan T. Robinson; daughter Cheryl Robinson, at home; her granddaughter Cassidy J. Robinson; her sister Frances Karcheski of Berkeley Twp.; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Sunday from 3 to 6 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 am, Monday at Epiphany Catholic Church, 615 Thiele Road, Brick. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River.
