Obituary of Ralph J. Glancy

Ralph J. Glancy, 42, of Toms River, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Ralph was a heating and air conditioning technician and worked as a HVAC Mechanic for the New Jersey State Police in Hamilton Township. He was a member of the Refrigeration AC Service Division of Union Local 9 of Englishtown for 18 years. He was a 1987 graduate of Toms River High School North. Ralph loved his pets, Prince and Max. Born in Jersey City he grew up in Wayne, moving to Toms River in 1975. He was predeceased by his mother Carmela Glancy in 2002 and his uncle Thomas Glancy in 2010. Ralph is survived by his father, John J. Glancy, Sr of Toms River; his brother, John J. Glancy, Jr., of Beachwood; his longtime girlfriend and companion, Maria Abate; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 pm on Sunday at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River.
