Obituary of John J. Murphy

John J. Murphy, Sr., 75 of Toms River, passed away Friday, October 29, 2011 at the Bartley Healthcare Center, Jackson, NJ. John was a CPA with Lucient Technologies for many years. He was a graduate of Seton Hall and Pace Universities. Born and raised in Paterson, he retired to Toms River 20 years ago. He is survived by his children, John J. Murphy, Jr and his wife Kelly of Franklin Park, Maureen Ann Murphy of Toms River, Brian Murphy of Jackson, Timothy Murphy and his wife Melanie of Matawan, and 5 grandsons; also his brother Robert Murphy of Wayne. Visitation will be held at the the Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Tuesday, November 1, 2011, from 1 to 3 pm with a funeral service at 3:00. Burial will be private.
