Obituary of Marilyn Tamasy

Marilyn Tamasy, 79 of Toms River passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Community Medical Center, Toms River with her family at her side. She was a loving wife and wonderful mother who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Born in New Brunswick, she lived in Milltown before moving to Toms River in 1969. Surviving are her husband of 59 years, George Tamasy; son George Tamasy, Jr., and his wife Gail of Seaside Park; two daughters, Lynda McLain and her husband Sam of Seaside Park, and Pamela Ritchey and her husband Doug of Toms River; four grandchildren, James Tamasy, Ian, Paige and Shane Ritchey and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 4 to 7 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Monday at the funeral home followed by burial at the Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
