Gene was a good friend and was always there to help anyone in need. I've had the pleasure of riding many miles with Gene, be it an overnighter to Lake George or just a run through the back roads of Jersey, he always had a smile on his face and a kind word for all we met. Gene was one of the original Jersey Boys of the RuneRiders and although he hasn't been active on the board for awhile, many of his posts remain as a testament to his good humor and nature. Rest in Peace my friend, you will surely be missed by many. John and Connie Henne
