Obituary of Howard J. Hogenbirk

Howard J. Hogenbirk, 82 of Toms River, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2012. Howard was a teamster and worked with Local 50 of New York. Howard was an avid fan of the NY Giants. He was born in East Orange and spent his early years in Newark. He lived in Belleville before moving to Toms River 7 years ago. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Emily (Millie) Hogenbirk, his brothers, Cornelius, Bernie and Richard and his sister Marie. Surviving are his children, Howard and his wife Sharon, David and his wife Rosanne, Richard and his wife Heidi, Janice Fornarotto, Lisa Fuentes and her husband Joey and Maria Capriglione; two brothers, Bobby and Junior; two sisters, Roberta and Jean; 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Saturday from 2 to 4 pm with a funeral service at 3:30 pm.
