Obituary of Edward L. Bescript

Edward Louis Bescript, 85 of Lakewood , passed away Thursday, September 24, 2009 . Mr. Bescript worked at the Naval Air Engineering Station, Lakehurst as Supervisor of traffic and supply for 34 years, retiring in 1980. He attended St. Joseph ’s Catholic Church. Edward served in the US Navy as a machinist’s mate during World War II. Born and raised in Philadelphia , he lived in Toms River since 1951, moving to Lakewood seven years ago Surviving are: His wife of 63 years, Ellen Bescript Three sons: Edward of Egg Harbor Township Mark of Bayville Gary of Jacksonville , FL A daughter: Nancy Dugan of Island Heights Sister: Mildred Witte of Churchville , PA 9 Grandchildren 6 Great Grandchildren Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 7 to 9 pm at the Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave. , Toms River . Interment services will be private.
