Obituary of Charles F. Delaney

Charles Delaney, 72 of Toms River, a loving Husband, Father and Pop Pop, entered eternal rest on April 30, 2012. He was born in Watertown, NY and was the son of John and Vivian Delaney. Charles worked 35 years in trucking, retiring from Red Star Express, Newark, NJ in 1998. In his younger years he was also a member of the Civil Air Patrol. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Emily M. Delaney; his loving children John and Robin of Toms River, NJ, Craig of Lyndhurst, NJ, Dawn Eirman of Galloway, NJ, Mary Adamski and husband Paul of Myrtle Beach, SC, Laura Sklow and husband Roger of Naples, FL; and his cherished grandchildren Zackary, Brandon and Brianna Eirman, Shawn Delaney, many nieces and nephew, and dear friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 with a funeral service at 8:30pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Avenue, Toms River.
