Obituary of Norma G. Wilson

Norma Wilson, 90 of Neptune, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, August 25, 2012 at The Wexford in Wall where she resided for the past 3 years. Born on February 20, 1922 in Asbury Park NJ to Ruth & Joseph Grossman, Norma married Robert Wilson in 1942. They lived in Germany for many years before moving to Wanamassa, NJ and eventually residing in Shark River Hills, Neptune, NJ for over 30 years. Norma lived a rich and fulfilling life! She worked for New Jersey Bell Telephone for many years. After retirement Norma and Bob enjoyed traveling throughout Europe and the United States! Her many loves were music, dancing, and her cats, Buffy and Lucky! Active in church, she belonged to The Ballard Methodist Church in Asbury Park and The Community Baptist Church in Neptune Norma was predeceased by her husband, Robert Wilson, her sister Helen Selleck, and her brother Joseph Grossman. Surviving are her brother Phillip Gene Grossman and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Meridian Hospice for their care and compassion! A memorial service is planned for 5 PM on Sunday, August 5 at The Community Baptist Church, 424 Lakewood Road, Neptune. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Community Baptist Church.
