Obituary of Luis A. Echevarria

Luis A. Echevarria, Sr., 67, of Brick, passed away at his home on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012. He was born Oct. 1, 1944 in Puerto Rico. He is survived by one son, Luis Jr., of Brick; seven sisters, Hilda, Nancy, Maryann, Iris, Blanca, Louise, Carmen; one brother, Claudio; five grandchildren, Nicole, Amber, Ali, Annalisa and harry Jr.; and two great-granddaughters, Emma and Paige. Luis was predeceased in death by his son, Harry. He was a retired environmental engineer for Clean Venture. An avid fan of the NY Jets and the NY Yankees, Luis loved to laugh and spend time with family and friends. A viewing will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2012 at the Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, Aug 11, 2012 from the Kedz Funeral Home.
