Obituary of Maria Morrone

Maria Morrone, 91 of Toms River, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012.
Maria was born in New York City and lived most of her live in the Bronx, moving to Toms River 20 Years ago. She attended the First United Methodist Church of Toms River with her family. She enjoyed cooking, knitting and taking care of her family. She was predeceased by her husband Tony in 1982
She is survived by her son Anthony and his wife Jackie of Gastonia, NC; two daughters, Maria Scalavino of Shippensburg, PA and Nancy Pankovcin of Rainbow Lake, NY; and 9 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River, on Monday from 2 to 4 pm with a funeral service at 3:30 pm. Interment will take place at the Calverton National Cemetery, New York.
