Obituary of Marie Fidalgo

Marie C. Fidalgo, 98 of Toms River, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 27, 2012 at her home surrounded by those who loved her. She was born September 16, 1913 in Newark, NJ and moved to Toms River in 1962. She is survived by her sons Ronald of Toms River, NJ, Raymond of Whippany, NJ, and Phillip of Glenn Mills, PA, as well as her beloved family of 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. For nearly a century she was the heart, soul and solid rock of our family who met her life's challenges with unselfish courage, quiet determination and a deep faith in God. With an unshakeable devotion to those she loved she raised 3 generations of children over her remarkable lifetime. To her family and many friends she was a force of nature in the seasons of our lives. She was the spring rain and warm sunshine that blooms the flowers of hope and loved once again after the cold that winters life can bring. Gram… we love you so much and your love will shine like the summer sun in our hearts forever. Visitation will be held at the Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
