My Mom, she was the kind of Mom I could tell anything. For many years, I would call her almost everyday to talk. Since the 90s, I would call and say to Mom; "Hello Mother", and Mom would say; "Hello Daughter" then we would laugh. We shared everything and just about every detail of our lives with one another. The past couple years, she unusually did not like to talk on the phone much. She stopped leaving the home. She stopped dressing herself up or doing her hair. She couldn't clean the home much due to her age and fragileness. She walked softer, talked softer, she was often quiet. Her fears overcame soundness. Her heart though weak was full of love for all. She complained a lot, She worried a lot, She was overbearing at times due to her fears. She had good laughs and a wonderful sense of humor. She is still now. She is at rest. Her fears are gone with the wings of the Dove I imagine has her in the peace she longed for.
I wrote my Mom's Eulogy and realized that I will never experience all that I mentioned above.
85 years is a full life. Seven Children and had a long marriage to her first love, my Dad.

My Aunt Kay, so many memories. Countless dinners, bbq's, vacation at Lake George but my favorite was always shopping with her, mom and grandma... You see I might not have gotten anything at the store but I knew if I went we were going out too eat. The best was hamburgers at Woolworths.. What I'm thankful for is she was always in my corner no matter what. Thanks to her I have Skeet, who turned out to be just who I thought he was... I lost a big piece of my heart with my dad now another has fallen for you. I will think of you always, love you forever, ❤❤❤❤Dawn

My Nan loved her family more than anything. She always had the best taste in clothes and would always help me shop for dresses for myself and her great granddaughter Kay. She spelled her name Katharine (Kay for short). Her nickname was Honey. She loved going out all the time up until a few years ago. We would go to Mr. Breakfast, she loved Olive Garden. She loved her York peppermint patties, tea, crumb cake, playing cards, drawing, coloring, doing crafts with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, going to AC years ago (she had the best time). She always was the best at sewing, making curtains, fixing our clothes and stuffed animals to make the kids happy. She loved her hair a certain way, getting pedicures. I love you Nan. You were the best grandmother and we miss you so much. I hope you’re at peace.
