Sharon D Throenle, 68 of Toms River died Monday May 11 at CMC after a brief illness with the COVID-19 virus. She was born and lived in Cincinnati, Ohio, before moving to Toms River. She was a long time member of the St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church family and a member of the St. Justin's Center of Learning. In her later life she was a long time resident of a 21 Plus group home. She will be remembered for her innocence, love of music, her laugh, her not so sneaky side and how she could melt your heart with her smile. She was the beloved daughter of the late Albert B and Helen Throenle and her late sister Marilyn, who she missed terribly. Surviving are Roseann Deom, Carol Connolly and Albert R Throenle who all cherished their sister. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Due to the current limitations in place there will be a private service of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River. Memorial Services may be held at a future date. You may choose to remember her by mailing a donation to any of these organizations she was affiliated with; St Justin's center for Learning, 21 Plus, Easter Seals, or any other charity of you choice; Special Olympics, Red Cross...in her memory.
