Helen Mary Lockhart, 53 of Toms River, passed away Monday, August 24, 2020. Helen was born in Point Pleasant and grew up in Brick. She was a graduate of St. Joseph’s High School, and attended Georgian Court College earning her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Helen worked for several years at Brick Hospital as a ward secretary in the Cardiac Care Unit. She also worked in the insurance industry for several years. She was a communicant of St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in Lakewood and also worked for the church. Helen was predeceased by her parents Paul A. and Patricia (Flynn) Lockhart, and a brother Robert Lockhart in 1992. She is survived by a brother, Paul Lockhart and his wife Marlene; two sisters, Patricia (Lockhart) Schlueter and her husband Clifford, Cindie Anderson and her husband Thomas; her best friends, Patty Ranson and Maria Star-Zumpano; two nieces, Nicole Ranson and Alexandra Zumpano; her beloved Aunt Mary Rutan; and many loved Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Helen Mary was a beautiful loving soul with a gentle heart who greeted everyone she met with a smile and a warm hello. She will be dearly missed by so many. A memorial service to celebrate Helens’ life will be held the beginning of 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in her memory would be appreciated.
