Tom and Steve were like brothers to me. I remember SO many fun times with them and my siblings. Tom always had that great smile. Neither one of our families had much growing up, but one thing we DID have was friendship, and that lasts a lifetime.
My sincere condolences to the family. I’ll always cherish the memories. Rest In Peace, Tom.

Dear Tommy..........
You were an amazing brother in law, Uncle to all these wonderful children.....You could light up a room with that warm and humble smile......You were a fantastic athlete.....Taking the kids to shoot hoops, your ability to run like you did is uncanny...You were so much fun in all you did with all of us..we will treasure all the memories that you have given to us.......each of them very special in their own way....I'm sitting here still not comprehending all of this.....I love you so dearly....you were so tender, kind, loving, very empathic....funny omg were you funny......the party always started when you walked in the door......
Rest in peace my dear brother in law.......i will forever hold you deep in my heart........God please keep him safe in your arms.......
I love you
Karen

Good-bye my dear friend. I will always remember you for sharing your humor, your joy and your passion for music and sports. I know that your life journey was not a bed of roses but you always managed to survive and find humor in the most serious situations - and especially with your own challenges:).
Thank you for sharing memories of my mother, your 4th grade teacher, with my daughter who never met her grandmother. That will always bring tears to my eyes...
You were a champion in your own way even if you did not consider yourself one. You were brilliant in your own way and you will always shine!
"You take the high road, and I'll take the low road, and I'll be at the finish line afore ye. 'Cause I cut the course at the two mile mark, and that's why there's no runners before me..." (An adaptation of a classic with lyrics by Thomas C. Hill - and maybe only meaningful to his running buddies).

So terribly sorry about the loss of Tom. He and I loved to make music together at my house. Tom made up such funny lyrics and my two young boys laughed along with him. He and I played my pianos. We all belonged to the YMCA where Tom played basketball with anyone who would take him on. My boys learned to play from him and it was always a great time. Fond memories of a wonderful guy. Prayers of peace to the entire family.
