Obituary of Carolina Palmieri

Carolina Palmieri, 71 of Barnegat, formerly of Toms River, passed away Wednesday September 16, 2020. Carol was born in the Philippines and came to the United State at the age of eight. She worked as a dietician at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Paterson where she met Alfred and they were soon after married. She lived in Toms River for many years, and as a devout Catholic, would attend daily mass at St. Luke’s Catholic Church. Carol is survived by her beloved husband Dr. Alfred Palmieri; daughter Dana Palmieri; brothers, Willy and Eric Valentin; sister Josephine; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, 9:15 am, Monday at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 1674 Old Freehold Road, Toms River. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your favorite charity in Carol’s name would be appreciated.
