Obituary of Margaret Jean Erb

Margaret Jean Erb, 88, of Toms River, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 19, 2021. She was born and raised in Bernardsville, NJ before moving and settling in Toms River. Margaret graduated from Cranford High School and attended Drake Business School. Margaret worked in banking for many years before working with her family at Erb & Sons, Inc. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was an avid reader and taught her grandchildren the art of playing cards. She was the sweetest and most kind-hearted person you could know. She always had a kind word and a smile; she was loved by all. She is predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Miriam Lewis, her brother Arthur Thomas Lewis and identical twin sister Miriam Joan Laukshtein. Margaret is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Charles O. Erb; brother, Robert David Lewis; daughter, Gail Bradshaw Keyser and her husband Robert; son, Charles Arthur Erb and his wife Teresa; grandchildren, Jessica Sibert, Charles B. Erb, and Elizabeth Elsey; great grandchildren, Carolynn Sibert, Lillian Sibert, Julianna Sibert, Khloe Erb, Brody Erb, Kole Erb and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral will remain private.
