Obituary of Eileen Calore

Eileen Calore, 54 of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 30, 2012 at her home. Eileen had a wonderful and caring spirit which is why she excelled as a nurse. She was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau the International Honor Society of Nursing and was working on her Masters Degree. She was a devoted wife and mother, and had a special love for her precious grandchildren. Eileen was a communicant and Eucharistic Minister at St. Martha Catholic Church in Philadelphia. Born in Elizabeth, NJ she grew up in Island Heights and was a 1976 graduate of St. Joseph High School. Eileen was predeceased by her father William T. Sheehan in 2002 and a brother, Michael T. Sheehan in 2003. Surviving are her beloved husband of 16 years, Neil Calore; son Jacob Rush and his wife Michelle; daughter, Leah Rush; her cherished grandchildren, Gina, Joseph and Aidan; mother, Jacqueline Sheehan; three brothers, Father Gerard J. Sheehan, Joseph Sheehan, Kevin Sheehan and his wife Sandra; three sisters, Maura Duddy and her husband Danny, Patricia Werner and her husband Neil, Elizabeth Ann Crow and her husband John; mother and father in law, Geraldine and John Calore. Eileen is also survived by 25 nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday from 4 to 8 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:30 am, Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hooper Ave., Toms River, followed by burial at St. Joseph Cemetery.
