Obituary of Melissa Conner

Melissa Conner, 45, of South Toms River, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021 at her home. She worked as a bartender in the Shore area for many years. Melissa was a loving and devoted mother to her two boys, Corey and Dante. She was born in Queens, New York and moved to the Toms River area in 1984. Melissa loved to listen to music and had an awesome sneaker collection. But her dedication and always first were her boys Corey and Dante. Her family from New York which meant the world to her, was her Aunt Annette Echevarria and her three cousins Kristina, Stefanie and Andrea, and all their children Jayvien, Jaylin, Kyrie, DaNaijah, Jahnaya, Jasiah, Jonathan and Kailani. Melissa is survived by her two sons, Corey and Dante Conner; her father and stepmother, Frank Crea, Jr. and Diane; her fiancé, Rondell Moore; two brothers, Frank and Anthony Crea; and her best friend, Karen Lutes. Visitation will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 pm with a service offered at 8:30pm. Burial will take place 12:30 Wednesday, at Northport Rural Cemetery, Northport, New York.
